English Teaching Assistant Program in France
Participants in the English Teaching Assistant Program in France receive a net monthly salary of roughly €790 (approximately $1,039) and are assigned a 12-hour per week teaching schedule. Applicants must be American citizens (or U.S. Green Card holders from a non-francophone country) who are proficient in French, between 20 - 30 years old, and have completed at least two years of higher education by the beginning of the program. Fulbright U.S. Student Program
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects or English Teaching Assistantships. Candidates submit a Statement of Grant Purpose defining activities to take place during one academic year in a participating country outside the U.S. Benefits for all Fulbright U.S. Student grants include round-trip transportation to the host country, funding to cover room, board, and incidental costs, and medical insurance plan. |

Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Summer Internship Program
Interns participating in the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Summer Internship Program must be enrolled in a Master’s program in an accredited university. They must also master at least one of the official languages of the Bank (English, Spanish, Portuguese, or French) and, preferably, have practical knowledge of a second. Interns do receive a stipend but are responsible for the additional costs associated with their relocation to IDB headquarters in Washington, DC and medical coverage for the duration of the internship. AIESEC’s Global Internship Program
AIESEC's Global Internship Program helps you find a placement in a start-up, corporation or NGO overseas for 2-18 months. With the exception of some development internships, your internship salary should cover living expenses. Airfare is generally not included. There is, however, an application fee (varies by country). |
Court Interpreters Program (CIP)
The California Court Interpreters Program (CIP) website provides overview videos, a downloadable information packet, required qualifications, and procedures for court interpreting certification exams. Currently, contract court interpreters are paid $282.23 a day and $156.56 for half day, and are reimbursed for travel expenses for nonlocal travel.
